On this weeks show of The Takeover, I, Silent D., showed up late to the station and was not really all there. It was a chaotic show in which everyone was talking over one another and I felt like I was talking to myself at times and at times I WAS having an internal monologue about different things hence the title of this weeks show - “Soliloquy of Chaos”.

Denika and Dennis called into the show and talked shop and about ZeaLouS 1 Zombie Doll. We or Anthony a.k.a. “DP” and ZeaLouS 1 talked about the Comic Con post show that is being planned as well as their trip to go see mc chris this past week in San Diego. This was hilarious! ZeaLouS 1 tries to do his best mc chris impersonation.

We also played “Name That Gay Pop Song” or “Name That Song” because ZeaLouS 1 made this weeks clips. Whatever - these bastards butchered my game.

The Rundown Contest

The Rundown is coming to an end this semester with five shows left. In these five shows I will be playing new music as always and be counting down the 50 Greatest MC’s of OUR Time (1987 to 2007).

So, the contest- I will be having a drawing on our last show for some free CD’s and/or iTunes Certificates ($10). I will also throw in a compilation CD of the greatest Hip Hop songs (20 tracks is what I am shooting for). I may also throw in a couple of other things such as a ZeaLouS 1 zombie doll. This is all subject to change. But if you want to enter to win, all you have to do is send an e-mail to rundownpresents@aol.com with your name and street address. And put The Rundown Contest in the subject headline.

There is only one entry per person allowed which is why I require your street address. You don’t need to put the city and state. If you win, I’ll ask for it at that time. So, just put your full name (or nick name, if you don’t want your real name being said on the radio) and your street address. This will count as one entry.

While you can only send in one entry, if you give me your top 5 list of the greatest mc’s (1987 to 2007) in your e-mail then it will count as two. And if you also include your reasoning for picking those mc’s then your entry will count as three. This means that if you do all of these things then your name will be in the drawing three times which increases your chances to win.

All Entries Must Be In By April 30th, 2007!
